Family Concert: Native American Music & Dance of the Wampanoag

This afternoon, from 2-3 PM, there will be a second event as part of the Fall concert series to celebrate Native American Month.  This will be a lively Native American Concert to include Wampanoag musicians and dancers, directed by tribe member Cheenulka Pocknett.  The audience will be able to enjoy a traditional experience of Wampanoag culture, which is both entertaining and enriching.  This program is appropriate for all ages, and especially fun for kids!  Please come to a wonderful concert and bring your family, to see the colorful costumes and hear beautiful music and language, and learn about unique native traditions.   This program is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and is free and open to the public.
