This month Massachusetts painter Bud Burnham will display his work in the Wotiz Gallery. A former art director and graphic designer, Mr. Burnham hsa been the recipient of more than seventy-five awards, including a Gumbacher Painting Award. He also received six prestigious Hatch awards. His work is part of the permanent art collection of Brandeis University and his paintings cover a wide range of subjects: portraits, landscapes, seascapes, children at play and children at the seashore. Employing a traditionist palette, his work conveys a sensitivity and gentility, especially reflected in his images of children. Please come and view this lovely display here at the Library during the month of November.
