Happy Thanksgiving!
November 22, 2016 | Miss Sara

I’ve told you this before, but I’ll tell you again: we in the Children’s Room are especially thankful this year for YOU.
What fun we have had at the Milton Public Library this year! Together, we:
- sang songs in storytime
- watched movies in cardboard box cars that we made ourselves
- read 686,328 minutes together in our Summer Reading Challenge
- climbed on a fire truck in the library’s parking lot
- saw puppet shows, a juggler, humongous bubbles, and concerts in the Keys Room
- played games on the library’s new iPads
- learned Baby Sign with Maribeth and yoga with Jill
- voted for Blue as the Crayon-in-Chief
- did science experiments and cooking and crafts and readers’ theater and art
- read TONS of books
and the fun’s not over yet! We have lots of interesting things coming up for you in December. Check out our online calendar, or come in and ask us at the Children’s Desk about all the December excitement we have planned. (think excellent contest with prizes…)
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with the people you love. The library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but we’ll be open all of the other days if you’d like to come and see us.
Happy Turkey Day!
