Children’s Blog
On Saturday mornings, the Children’s Room is the place to be!
November 03, 2015

Do you have kids aged 0-5?
Do you find it difficult to bring them to weekday storytimes because of jobs/preschool/life getting in your way?
The Children’s Room is ready with a solution for you: Saturday Storytimes!
Every Saturday at 10:00 am, the Children’s Room is pleased to offer a rotating schedule of programming for your baby, toddler, or preschooler. These programs include:
- Little Linguists Storytime: Come enjoy stories, songs and activities including elements of the French and Spanish languages.
- Sensory Storytime: Enjoy fine/gross motor activities, songs and wonderful stories guided by a predictable, visual schedule. This program is created for children with Sensory Integration Issues, Autism Spectrum Disorders or other Developmental Delays ALONG WITH their typically developing peers and siblings.
- Tech Tots Storytime: A storytime that incorporates iPad apps along with books and songs to show families how to appreciate stories in new ways!
- Crafts and Games!
No registration is required for any of these programs, they’re FREE (like all of our children’s programming), and they’re a lot of fun! No need to get fancy, either: just roll out of bed and kick off your kids’ weekend with a little literary action 🙂
For more information, check our online calendar. Hope we’ll see you on Saturdays!
