MPL at the Movies: Brooklyn

Tonight there will be a free screening of the film: Brooklyn. Starring Saoirse Ronan and based on the novel by Colm Tóibín, the film follows Eilis Lacey, a young Irish woman who migrates to Brooklyn in the early 1950s to find employment. After building a life there, she is drawn back to her home town of Enniscorthy and has to choose where she wants to forge her future.

Rated PG – 13 for a scene of sexuality and brief strong language.
