MPL at the Movies: Race

Tonight there will be a free screening of the film: Race, a 2016 biographical sports drama film about African-American athlete Jesse Owens, who won a record-breaking four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. This movie highlights Owens’ determination to succeed in the face of bigotry and discrimination overseas and at home.

The film is rated PG-13 for thematic elements and language. The running time is 135 minutes, and there is no signup required to attend.
