Teens

teen-space-picA space for teens to read, learn, and explore.

The teen space is for students in grades 6-12. During afterschool hours (3-6pm, M-F during the school year), the teen space is available exclusively to teens for homework, socializing, or any number of library programs. The space includes computers for browsing, gaming, or homework, and will connect you with the library’s digital resources and databases. The young adult collection in the teen room includes books, graphic novels, video games, and magazines. If you’re looking for something but don’t find it, feel free to make a suggestion!

The teen space is also where you can jump into our weekly teen programs. These include weekly video game meetups using the library’s Switch, a Dungeons & Dragons club, Anime Club, Teen Takeovers, and more! You can suggest new programs and help us make them happen by joining our Teen Advisory Board.

Teens are welcome to earn volunteer hours at the library! If you would like to volunteer at the library during the school year or over the summer please come in to the library and talk to Tyler, our teen librarian.
