Plot Lovers: A Book Club with Brookwood Community Farm

Join staff members from Milton Public Library and Brookwood Community Farm for thoughtful conversations about food, farming, and the systems that shape how we eat. Through a mix of fiction and nonfiction selections, we’ll explore topics such as local food systems, sustainability, and food justice. Discussions will connect with Brookwood Community Farm’s mission of increasing access to affordable, fresh, healthy food and its values of environmental stewardship, community building, education, and creating a more just food system for everyone. Whether you’re passionate about cooking, gardening, social issues, or simply love a good read, all are welcome to join the conversation.

This month we will be reading and discussing Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life by Barbara Kingsolver.
