Author Suzanne Cope will discuss her new book, Women of War: The Italian Assassins, Spies, and Couriers Who Fought the Nazis. Discover the gripping, true, and untold history of the Italian anti-fascist resistance during World War II, told through the stories of four spectacularly courageous women fighters. Cope, a professor at New York University, is a narrative journalist, whose work has appeared in New York TimesThe AtlanticLos Angeles Review of BooksFood & Wine, BBC, Washington Post, and others.
