May Art with Jon Anthony Lawrence

TIME: LOCATION: Wotiz Gallery CONTACT: Jean Hlady, 617.698.5757Milton painter John Anthony Lawrence will show an exhibit of his paintings in our Wotiz Gallery this month, from 5/1 through 5/31. He creates lovely, colorful pieces using both acrylic and watercolor, and many images are seascapes and landscapes. This exhibition is called: “Making Waves” and it will compare and contrast paiuntings of New England with painting inspired from othe regions (FLA, CA, Carolinas..). In addition to land and seascapes, John paints other subjects such as animals, some still life, pools, islands, the interior of homes, and more. This is a very nice collection of work by a talented painter, so we hope you will come visit the MPL in May to view and enjoy it. There will also be a free and open reception held on Thursday, May 16th, from 6-8 PM in the Gallery when everyone is welcome to come and meet the artist. Please join us!
